NetworkAgenda - Virtual Office Software

NetworkAgenda.com on unveiled the newest version of its virtual office software, which it will make available in beta form to existing customers on Monday. Targets teams needing peer-to-peer shared workspaces to tie together employees, will ship in final form in the third quarter, during the summer time frame according to company officials. A Secure Virtual Office is a software environment which allows people to securely access and run applications on a remote server from an Internet connection, as if the application and data was on their own desktop machine. This allows client machines to be cheap personal computers or a thin client. IT administration costs are significantly lower as just a few large servers need to be maintained rather than the many PCs found in a conventional office. Secure Virtual Offices are usually found located in a data centre in large cities around the world. A modern Secure Virtual Office shares many similarities to older client-server architectures. But the recent re-emergence is a far cry from the dumb terminal green screens of the past. The recent rise in popularity has been brought about by fast, secure internet connections, cheap, reliable servers and software vendors providing applications that are application service provider (ASP) ready.

NetworkAgenda provides some services:

Web Calendar. Track all of your personal and group events - meetings, appointments, birthdays, anniversaries. Share calendars with friends, business colleagues, and social groups. The Networkagenda web calendar is unique in that it takes into account traveling time when booking visits. It does this graphically and allows full drag and drop anyway in the diary, as you do this it records a full audit trail and more importantly sends your colleagues an email detailing the new time for the meeting/visit. The monthly diary incorporates a special colored column that enables you to quickly tell how busy you are on any particular day at a glance. To display all appointments in detail just click on any day in the monthly view. Last of all we include a fully scaleable group diary that allows you to tailor the users and facilities (projector, conference room) you want to see on a daily basis; again this supports full drag and drop. All diary entries are linked to the contact, company and any related object that might have created it (for example: a letter, a support log), which means you can drill (move) up & down, left & right.

Contact Manager. Store your contacts online, and the next time you're away from your PC or PDA, you'll have access to those phone numbers and addresses (NetworkAgenda) via any Web browser. Allows many contacts to be linked to one company. Attach new contacts to existing companies. Create Fax and Email documents using pre-saved templates directly from the contact screen into MS Word. Full document database using point and click on the left hand filing cabinet. Create unlimited MS Word templates with divisions by department and category. Use our unique facility, Document Groups, to create groups of templates which aid setting up of standard office procedures. Virtual Office allows you record one or many enquire against a contact/company. An enquiry can contain one or more products; these products can be real (from your product/stock file) or virtual products (ones you may be trial marketing). The enquiry tracking feature allows you to record how well you promotiona campaigns are working. Manage calendar events, contacts, storage space, task list, Web bookmarks, and hosting.

Conference Room: Networkagenda virtual software provides conference room. Enter the conference room featuring ongoing group chat and individual chat, any other Business information, company announcements, company calendar, co-worker's calendars, and company contacts.

Apparently your company is illegally charging customers for services they did not request. If you do a Google search of networkagenda.com you can find a whole list of complaints and fraud alert websites. I have been personally charged four times for services that I had no idea that I ordered and now I think I should find a lawyer.
